Braun voluntarily recalls a limited number of Braun Satin Hair 3 airstyler
As a precautionary measure, Braun, today announced a limited and voluntary recall of one production lot of the Braun Satin Hair 3 airstyler. This consumer recall has been initiated, because one particular production lot of Braun Satin Hair 3 airstylers has failed to meet Braun’s high quality standards and may present a safety risk to consumers. No other lot of Braun Satin Hair 3 airstylers is affected by this recall.
Braun quality assurance has reported an increased number of quality incidents involving separation of the handle of the Satin Hair 3 airstyler potentially leading to the exposed power cable. The affected product can be identified by the code “021” stamped on the handle of the Braun Satin Hair 3 airstyler. In order to identify the code “021” consumers are asked to follow steps outlined below:
1. Unplug appliance from the electricity source and confirm it as a Braun Satin Hair 3 airstyler. The term “Braun Satin Hair 3” is printed on the handle of the appliance as shown.
2. Identify the code “021”stamped on the handle of the product at the bottom of the information panel.
Consumers with the affected product are asked not to use it and to contact their local Braun designated call center (toll-free) for instructions on the replacement procedure.
